Bid to free snow-trapped traffic near Louth
- Published
A rescue operation is taking place in Lincolnshire to free about 50 cars stuck on a stretch of road because of snowy conditions.
The vehicles became stuck going uphill at about 1800 GMT.
Police and local farmers are working to move the vehicles which are trapped on a hill on the A153 near Louth.
Police said traffic began to move again very slowly at about 2000 GMT but it would be several hours before that stretch of road was cleared.
