A teenage boy has denied murdering a 67-year-old man whose body was discovered at a disused quarry in Lincolnshire.
David Cowley, of Broadfield Lane in Boston, was found dead off Mareham Lane, Sleaford, on 17 November.
A 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to Mr Cowley's murder.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to stand trial on 30 August.
A second youth, also aged 17, has been charged with handling stolen goods and attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to Mr Cowley's death.
