Laughing gas cylinders stolen from Grantham Hospital
- Published
Thieves have stolen six cylinders of nitrous oxide - also known as laughing gas - from a hospital in Lincolnshire.
The gas is used as pain relief but police said it had been known to be used for recreational purposes and could prove fatal in the wrong hands.
It is believed the cylinders were taken from the hospital between 16 and 17 June but Lincolnshire Police said the theft had only just come to light.
Anyone with information about the cylinders should contact police.
The cylinders are blue, clearly labelled as nitrous oxide and about 4ft (1.2m) tall.
