In pictures: Red Arrows tour of Middle East

The Red Arrows have completed a tour of the Middle East, which included displays in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar.

The team also performed in Kuwait for the first time in its 50 year history.

During the tour, the team completed 15 displays - including one in Bahrain.

The Red Arrows were last in the region in 2007.

They have now performed in a total of 55 countries, since their first display in 1964.

The team also performed a flypast of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

Squadron Leader Jim Turner, said it was a privilege to display in the region.

The 33-day tour saw the team travel through 11 countries, including fuel stops on the way to and from the Middle East.

The Red Arrows also performed in "Lancaster" formation over Dubai, during the final display of the tour.
