Police said Nicholas Burnett is now clean shaven

An inmate who went missing from an open prison in Lincolnshire has been found by police.

Members of the public had been told not to approach Nicholas Burnett, 33, who went missing from HMP North Sea Camp, near Boston, in the early hours of the morning.

He was convicted of causing grievous bodily harm, in the Somerset area in 2005.

Burnett was located in Burgh le Marsh earlier and detained by officers.

North Sea Camp is an open prison and houses more than 400 offenders, most serving long sentences.
