Seal found under car in Grimsby released back into the sea

A seal which was found under a car in Grimsby town centre has been released back into the sea.

Oreo, named after its light and dark markings, was taken to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary in January after it led police officers on a "slow pursuit" along Chantry Lane.

Rescuers said how the seal had found its way to a town centre was a "complete mystery".

Oreo was released in Skegness at 09:30 BST on Thursday along with three other seals.
