Lincoln: Road reopens after crash involving fireworks lorry and car
- Published
Motorists faced delays earlier after a lorry carrying fireworks was involved in a crash on a major route in Lincoln.
Police issued a traffic warning on Friday morning after the lorry and a car collided on the A46 bypass between Riseholme and Carholme roundabouts.
The road was closed for several hours to allow for recovery work to take place, a police spokesperson said.
Fire crews attended the incident and the lorry was moved off the road before the road was reopened, the force added.
