Lincolnshire woman killed as car crashes into tree

A Lincolnshire woman has died after a car she was a passenger in crashed into a tree, police said.

The 38-year-old died after a black BMW was involved in the crash just after midnight on 3 January on Cliffe View in South Rauceby.

The driver, a 37-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail.

Police said the woman's family are being supported by specialist officers.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
