Timothy Hayes admitted multiples child rapes

A man who admitted multiple child rapes has been jailed.

Timothy Hayes pleaded guilty at Lincoln Crown Court in November to 10 offences, including six counts of rape and various forms of assault.

The 50-year-old, of Alford Road, Mablethorpe, was sentenced to 13 years and four months on Friday.

He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

After the hearing, Det Con Michelle Adamson of Lincolnshire Police said: "The crimes Hayes committed are both appalling and upsetting.

"Great credit needs to be given to the people he hurt who showed dignified courage, bravery and patience when supporting us and other agencies."
