Marc Jones had his request for a near-maximum increase approved on Wednesday
Council tax payers in Lincolnshire will fork out more for policing this year, councillors have decided.
Police and crime commissioner (PCC) Marc Jones's proposed 4.45% precept increase was approved on Wednesday.
It will mean people living in Band D properties will pay £304.20 in the next financial year, up from £291.24.
Mr Jones previously said "careful consideration" had been given following a consultation last year.
He said the increase would generate an additional £3.1m for the force.

Band D properties will pay roughly £13 more per year to the police
Lincolnshire's police and crime panel, which approved the increase, was attended by councillors from across the county.
