Police have identified a man whose body was found at the edge of a field in Lincolnshire.

He has been confirmed as 47-year-old Lithuanian national Audrius Kubilus, police said his next of kin have been informed.

Mr Kubilus' body was found at about 10:15 GMT on 1 February near Ropsley Road, between Ropsley and Oasby.

His death is not being treated as suspicious but Lincolnshire Police said its inquiries continued.

The force said there may be people who can help explain how he came to be at the location, and appealed for them to get in touch.

CCTV footage showed Mr Kubilus walking along the road from Aisby towards Oasby between 08:00 and 08:40 GMT on 1 February.

Images of two distinctive tattoos were previously released to try and help identify Mr Kubilus.
