A man has been charged after another man was seriously injured when he was stabbed at a pub in Skegness.

Officers were called to the Jack Snipe pub on Wednesday night following reports of an assault.

Lincolnshire Police said the victim suffered injuries consistent with a knife wound.

The force said a 57-year-old man had been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court at a later date, a spokesperson said.
