Teenagers in court over Blackheath burnt car murder

Two teenagers have been remanded in custody at the Old Bailey accused of murdering a television executive found dead in the boot of a burnt-out car.

Gagandip Singh, 21, of Bexleyheath, was discovered in a Mercedes in Angerstein Lane, Blackheath, on Saturday.

Harinder Singh Shoker, 19, of Charlton Park Lane, south London, and Mundill Mahil, 19, of Maidstone Road, Chatham, Kent, were remanded in custody.

They are due to appear at the Old Bailey on 3 June.

Student Ms Mahil appeared by prison videolink and a bail application on her behalf was adjourned to a future hearing.

Darren Peters, 19, of Shooters Hill Road, Blackheath, south east London, has also been charged with murder and was due to appear before Bexley magistrates.

Mr Singh was an owner of new broadcasting service Sikh TV.
