A man who was stabbed in the neck with a bottle at a central London nightclub has died.
Father-of-two Philip Sherriff, 37, a telecommunications worker from Preston, Lancashire, was attacked in Pulse nightclub, Southwark, on 4 April.
Singer Jessie J had performed at the club earlier in the evening and several other celebrities were in the venue at the time.
Ashley Charles, 25, from Leicester, has been charged with attempted murder.
An inquest is yet to be held into the death.
The party had been arranged by mobile phone firm BlackBerry.
Doctors operated on Mr Sherriff's skull in an attempt to remove pressure from an injury to his brain.
But he remained in a critical condition for several days before dying.
Police are now treating the case as a murder investigation.
