IPCC assesses Leyton police contact with stabbed woman

The case of a woman who was stabbed to death at her home has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) over her previous contact with police.
Linah Keza, 29, died on Wednesday in Leyton, east London, after she was injured in the knife attack.
Police were called by ambulance crews at around 04:30 BST and Ms Keza was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned over her death.
Magistrates have extended the time the man can be held by police until Friday afternoon.
A post-mortem examination found Ms Keza died from stab wounds to the chest.
Scotland Yard said the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) would look at previous contact between police, the suspect and Ms Keza.
A spokesman for the IPCC said it was assessing the referral.
