Man convicted of 2005 stab murder of Robert Darby

A man has been found guilty of the murder of a 42-year-old who was found with stab injuries in east London more than eight years ago.

Robert Darby was found in Perth Road, Gants Hill, Ilford, in August 2005 and died in hospital the following day.

Jason Moore, 43, of no fixed abode, denied murder and was convicted by a jury following a trial at the Old Bailey.

He will be sentenced at the same court on Monday.
