Cyclist charged over pedestrian death in east London

A cyclist has been charged following the death of a pedestrian in east London.
Charlie Alliston appeared in court following the death of 44-year-old Kim Briggs, who was hit while crossing Old Street in Shoreditch on 12 February.
Mr Alliston, 19, of Trothy Road, Bermondsey, is accused of causing bodily harm by wilful misconduct.
He appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court earlier and is due at the Old Bailey on 12 October.
