A trailblazing female brazer is determined to get more women into the industry.

Rebecca Francis was the first female brazer, who use a traditional welding technique, at Brompton Bikes - the largest bicycle manufacturer in the UK.

After a surge in demand for bikes and cycling during the pandemic Ms Francis is now training the next generation of women to braze.
