St Joseph's Hospice: A day in the life of a volunteer

St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney, east London, provides care for those with terminal and life-limiting conditions.

It currently has 600 volunteers on its register, but due to a surge in demand for its services the hospice needs more.

St Joseph's has been hosting two open days for those interested in volunteering.

BBC London went along to see what a day in the life of a hospice volunteer is like.
