Elephant and Castle: What happened to residents of the Heygate Estate?

In 2013, bailiffs removed the last tenants living on the Heygate Estate.

The estate in Elephant and Castle, south London, had about 1,200 homes, most of them council homes.

It was demolished in 2014 as part of a regeneration project to create shops, public spaces and 2,500 new homes.
