London Marathon: Hackney man training in memory of mother

A man from east London whose health condition prevented him for walking in the past, is now training to run the London Marathon.

James Sloan, from Hackney, has the nerve condition sciatica. He says he hopes to run the marathon in April in memory of his late mother, Kirsten who died in 2021 after undergoing treatment for a brain tumour.

He's fundraising for the charity Brain Tumour Research, external to raise awareness of the condition.
