City of London: How to train a police horse

City of London Police's mounted unit plays a big role in policing the city, from state occasions and crowd control to ceremonial duties and sporting events.

The horses are also used to provide reassurance to the public.

At their training stables in Bushy Park, south-west London, both prospective officers and horses have been put through their paces.
