City of London Police officer charged with sex offences

The officer has been suspended from duty at City of London Police

A serving City of London Police officer has been charged with sex offences, the force says.

Sgt Constandino Simeonidis, from Milton Keynes, is charged with one count of sexual touching by penetration and one count of sexual touching following an incident on 9 December 2022.

Det Supt Carly Humphreys from City of London Police said the 53-year-old was arrested on 8 March 2023.

She added Sgt Simeonidis was suspended following his arrest.
