Watch: Heartwarming 'Concorde connection' made live on the radio

Watch the heartwarming moment a "Concorde connection" was made live on the radio.

Cindy and Les called into Riz Lateef on BBC Radio London with their stories of Concorde, after the aircraft was moved across the Hudson River in New York.

Cindy explained how she had flown on the historic jet in 1998 and, as a result, had a souvenir pack from her flight. She wanted to offer it to someone who could give it a new home.

Les, who was calling from the West End, was quick to respond as his son was working on a school project about the supersonic aircraft.

Cindy offered to give it to Les’s son, Liam, on the condition she was credited for what was hoped to be a gold-star show-and-tell.
