Levenshulme tyres fire forces road closures

Up to 50 firefighters were involved in tackling a large blaze at a tyre recycling centre in Manchester.
Hundreds of tyres caught fire at the yard on Sandfold Lane, Levenshulme, causing clouds of thick black smoke.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service described it as a "very large" fire, that started at 0615 BST on Monday.
Crews brought the fire under control later but have remained at the scene damping down.
Sandfold Lane and Mount Road, between Matthews Lane and Longford Road were closed during the incident and residents were advised to keep their doors and windows shut.
