In pictures: Ladies' Day at Grand National meeting at Aintree

Colourful outfits took centre stage at Aintree racecourse in Liverpool as thousands of women flocked to the Grand National race meeting's Ladies' Day.
The second day of the event has traditionally been a chance for female race-goers to dress up, with many arriving early to make the most of the day.
On display, as always, was a wide variety of outfits, with many women topping off their ensemble with a flamboyant hat.
Equally flamboyant were some of the shoes on show, although many of those in high heels found the soft turf of the racecourse hard going at times.
A number of celebrities also turned out for Ladies' Day and although Aintree regular Coleen Rooney had to cancel her trip due to her pregnancy, the singer Liz McClarnon and others were on hand to add a touch of glamour.
Unfortunately, the weather was not as good as on the opening day, but the cloudy skies and cold temperatures failed to dampen most people's spirits.
An estimated 50,000 people were expected at Aintree for the day's racing, which featured seven races over the famous course.
