The parade, which had a theme of Wish You Were Here, was the usual mix of bright costumes and colourful characters amongst its celebrations of local events and cultures from across the world.

Councillor Pat Karney said the "spectacle" of the parade, which is in its fourth year and once again saw acrobats and large floats dazzle the crowds, "hasn’t dropped an inch - if anything it grows bigger each year".
