RAF Spitfire closes road in Manchester MOSI Museum move

An RAF Spitfire plane has been moved from a Manchester museum, closing a road in the process.
The plane, operated by 613 Squadron from 1946 to 1948, has been housed at the Museum of Science and Industry (Mosi) for 19 years.
It is being taken by truck to the RAF Museum in Hendon for a exhibition called Britain From Above.
Mosi said the operation had taken two months of planning and the road outside needed to be shut.
Jack Kirby, head of collections at Mosi, said he was "sure lots of people will be sorry to see it go".
