Murder charges after Altrincham lap dancing bar brawl

The brawl took place outside a lap dancing bar in Altrincham

Two men have been charged with murder after a brawl outside a lap dancing bar left one dead.

A group of about 10 men were involved in the fight on The Causeway in Altrincham at about 02:40 GMT on Thursday, police said.

A 31-year-old victim suffered head injuries in the altercation and later died in hospital.

Aiden Oakes, 26, of Peveril Road and Anton Oakes, 22, of Lee Avenue, Altrincham, are charged with murder.

Greater Manchester Police said they also both face a charge of assault in relation to an attack on another man.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday.
