Manchester tram death: Woman cries in court over murder charge

A woman wept as she appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was hit by a tram at Manchester's Victoria station.
Charrissa Loren Brown-Wellington, 31, is accused of killing Philip Carter, 30, who died at the station on Sunday.
Ms Brown-Wellington, who wore a red jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms, was remanded in custody at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court.
She is due to appear at the city's crown court on Wednesday.
