Manchester man developed sepsis after a minor scratch from his dog

Jaco Nel, from Manchester, developed sepsis after receiving a minor scratch from his dog.

Mr Nel had to undergo amputations and suffered facial disfigurement as a result of a minor skin wound becoming infected and the sepsis took hold.
