Anthony Lavender death: Man, 37, charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a 79-year-old man who died at a house in Liverpool.
Anthony Lavender was discovered collapsed at the home in Woodhall Road, in Old Swan, on 29 December.
Merseyside Police said officers had attended the address after reports of a domestic incident.
The force said David Lavender, 37, of Woodhall Road, has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
