Body of woman found on footpath near Rochdale school

The body of a woman in her 40s has been found near a school in Greater Manchester.
The discovery was made after emergency services were called to Ashfield Road near Sandbrook retail park in Rochdale at about 04:30 BST amid concerns for a person's welfare, police said.
The area has been cordoned off and forensic officers are at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police said the incident was also close to Ashfield Valley Primary School.
In a Facebook post, external, Ch Supt Nicky Porter said an investigation was ongoing and officers were working to establish what happened.
The force had asked people to avoid the area and anyone with information to get in touch.
Ch Supt Porter added: "If you know anything about this incident, or if you have any dashcam footage or CCTV, please contact GMP, so you can support us with this investigation."
