Stockport cannabis farm with more than 300 plants found

More than 300 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £40,000 have been seized by police.

Officers found them at a property on Avenue Street in Portwood, Stockport, on Friday after concerns were reported by locals,

Inspector John Picton said: "We would like to thank the local community for voicing their concerns."

Greater Manchester Police has appealed for anyone with information about the cannabis farm to contact them.
