Two men are wanted by police after a man was stabbed to death in Manchester.
Officers are searching for the pair, who fled in a car after the attack in Moss Side at about 20:00 BST on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died a short time later.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said no arrests had been made as officers appealed for information.
The force said it was believed from initial inquiries that there had been a "disturbance" between the victim and his friend with two other men on Moss Lane East.
The two men fled after the stabbing while the victim's friend stayed and called emergency services, GMP said.
Forensic officers were at the scene with part of the road cordoned off as the investigation continued.
Det Ch Insp Andy Naismith, from GMP, said: "I understand people will be concerned when they hear the news of what has happened, but I would like to reassure them that we do not believe this was a random attack.
"We have a number of additional resources deployed to identify those responsible."
