Three councillors have been suspended by the Conservatives after they went to a pro-Palestine march on Armistice Day.

Kamran Ghafoor, Muhammad Irfan and Abdul Wahid, who represent Holliwood on Oldham Council, joined the march held in London on 11 November.

The march saw thousands of protesters call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

A Conservative Party spokesperson said it was investigating "alleged incidents during and after the march". The councillors have declined to comment.
