Two people hit by buses in Manchester city centre

Two people have been hit by buses in separate incidents in Manchester city centre overnight, police have said.
A 54-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after a collision in Portland Street at about 23:30 GMT on Saturday, Greater Manchester Police said.
He was taken to hospital while the bus driver remained at the scene. No arrests have been made.
Another man in his 40s was hit by a different bus at about 01:00 GMT and was treated for serious leg injuries.
Police appealed for anyone with information and footage to contact them.
