M60 motorway crash leaves driver in critical condition

The M60 was closed anticlockwise between junctions 24 and 25
Two cars have crashed on the M60 motorway near Manchester, leaving a driver critically injured and their vehicle overturned.
The crash happened at about 05:40 GMT, with the injured driver taken to Salford Royal Hospital.
The road remains closed between junctions 24 and 25 anticlockwise, with drivers urged to avoid this area.
Greater Manchester Police appealed to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
