A 19-year-old passenger has died after his car crashed into a building when it over-took another vehicle.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the driver "lost control" of the car after he "overtook a slower moving vehicle" on Spotland Road, Rochdale, just after 19:00 GMT on Monday.

GMP said all three occupants of the car were taken to hospital. The teenage man died in hospital on Tuesday morning.

Police have appealed for witnesses or any CCTV, mobile or dashcam footage.
