Manchester police officer hurt as police patrol car crashes

A police patrol car was involved in a crash with another vehicle, leaving one officer needing hospital treatment.
It happened at about 17:30 GMT on Wednesday on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton, Manchester, police said.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said it assessed two casualties for minor injuries at the scene.
Police said there were no serious injuries and an ambulance was not required - but one officer went to hospital for care.
