Stockport: Boy, 14, among six held over £1.8m steel plate theft

A 14-year-old boy is among six people arrested in connection with the theft of steel plates worth £1.8m from a business in Stockport
Greater Manchester Police said they were stolen from a premises in Cromer Street just before 05:30 GMT on Monday.
Six males, aged between 14 and 46, have since been arrested on suspicion of burglary the force said.
Det Insp Shifa Chowdhury said the arrests were down to the "quick-thinking of officers at the scene".
Police have appealed for information or any video footage.
