Rochdale man killed in Pakistan, says MP

An MP is urging the Foreign Office to investigate reports a man from Greater Manchester has been shot dead while visiting family in Pakistan.
Tony Lloyd MP for Rochdale said Tasaraf Hussain was killed on Monday and added it was "shocking news".
He said he and the leader of Rochdale Council, Neil Emmott, have written to the Foreign office and the Pakistani Ambassador, calling for his killers to be "brought to justice".
The Foreign Office has been contacted.
Mr Hussain is said to have been on his way to a surprise party with family after leaving Islamabad Airport when the incident happened.
In a joint statement, external Mr Lloyd and Mr Emmott said they were calling for the death of Mr Hussain to be "urgently" looked into and to outline what measures will be taken to ensure the safety of those traveling in the region.
