Wigan crash: Man dies after motorbike hits fence post

The bikers crashed into a post while travelling on Hall Lane in Aspull, Wigan
A man who was seriously injured after a motorbike crashed into a fence post in a village has died.
The 27-year-old was riding the vehicle along with a boy, 16, when it struck a post on a path off Hall Lane in Aspull, Wigan on Saturday at about 17:00 GMT, Greater Manchester Police said.
The man was taken to hospital but died the following day, while the teenager had minor injuries.
Officers urged anyone who saw the crash to come forward.
