We've all lost our children, Brianna Ghey's mum says

The mother of murdered teenager Brianna Ghey has said seeing the parent of her daughter's killer break down in court reminded that "we've all lost our children".

Brianna, who was transgender, was murdered by Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe after they lured her to a park in Cheshire in February 2023.

Esther Ghey said seeing the mother of one of the killers break down in court when they were found guilty had been upsetting and reminded her of how she felt when she heard Brianna had died.

She was speaking to BBC North West Tonight ahead of Jenkinson and Ratcliffe's sentencing.
