Manchester crash: Woman critical after hit-and-run

A woman who was struck in a hit-and-run crash is in a life-threatening condition, police have said.
The 44-year-old was walking in Hyde Road, Manchester when she was hit at about 18:00 GMT on Thursday.
A vehicle was abandoned shortly afterwards in Delahays Range, Debdale, Greater Manchester Police said.
Three men, aged between 21 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
They were also detained on suspicion of aggravated taking without consent, theft of motor vehicle and perverting the course of justice.
They have since been bailed pending further investigation.
