Wetland diver search after man bailed over murder

A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a human torso was found has been bailed.
The 20-year-old was arrested after human remains were discovered bound in plastic at Kersal Wetlands in Salford, Greater Manchester, on Thursday.
Det Chf Insp Andy Naismith of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said search dogs and divers were probing "every inch" of the nature reserve.
Finding out the identity of the victim was the force's priority, he said.
Officers previously said specialist DNA testing had determined the remains belonged to a man who was "likely to be aged older than 40".
The remains were first discovered in the wetlands by a passer-by last Thursday, prompting a large-scale search of the surrounding area involving specialist police units.
These include search dogs and underwater divers, with part of the reserve surrounded by the River Irwell.
Det Chf Insp Naismith said the "distressing case" had caused "shockwaves for the people of Salford and further afield in Greater Manchester".
He said police were "relying a lot on forensic work, which can take time" because of the condition in which the victim was found.
