The funeral of a schoolgirl who died when she fell under a train in Liverpool has taken place in Wirral.
Georgia Varley, 16, from Wallasey, fell between a carriage and platform at James Street station on 22 October.
Hundreds of people lined the streets ahead of the service at Sacred Heart church in Moreton.
It was followed by a private burial at Bootle Cemetery. Her friends and family said the service would be a celebration of her life.
Speaking before her funeral, friend Danny Remmington said: "It'll be really difficult from us all but it's nice for us to all come together and celebrate a life.
"There'll be a few tributes from friends about how much we're all going to miss her and what type of a girl she was.
"Her smile would light up anyone's day."
Georgia had been running to catch the 23:01 BST Merseyrail service to West Kirby when the accident happened.
Some bystanders needed treatment for shock after witnessing her death.
