Fundraisers have started a 96-mile run in memory of the 96 football fans who died in the Hillsborough disaster.

Seven runners started at Hillsborough, the home of Sheffield Wednesday FC, and will finish at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC on Saturday.

The first run last year raised £15,000 for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign and Hillsborough Family Support Group.

This year, money raised will go to Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Sheffield's Children's Hospital.

Team leader Dominic Williams said: "I am extremely proud of this team who put in so much hard work and dedication, in memory of the 96 for a brighter future."
