Huyton shooting: Man charged with murder over ride-by attack

A man has been charged with murder over the death of a man who was shot twice in the chest on a street.
Patrick Boyle, 26, was shot by a gunman on a bicycle in Newway, Huyton, on 1 July and died later in hospital, Merseyside Police said.
Reuben Murphy has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
The 25-year-old, of Oak Avenue in Newton-le-Willows, is due before Wirral Adult Remand Court on Friday.
