Woman charged with murder after man fatally stabbed in Bootle

A woman has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed.
Merseyside Police said Gerard Hand, 44, was found at an address on Church Walk, Bootle, at about 07:45 GMT on Thursday. He was taken to hospital where he died.
Amanda McDonnell, 43, is due before Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates' Court later.
A 42-year-old man from Bootle, arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
